Dear WIA-Europe member,
In the past you have registered as a member of Women in Aerospace Europe. In the future, we would like to keep you informed of our activities.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on May 25, 2018. The same privacy legislation applies under the international name GDPR throughout the EU. In short, the GDPR states that privacy rights of individuals are extended and strengthened. For more information about the GDPR, see the website of the European General Data Protection Regulation.
The GDPR has an impact on our way of working, because we use your personal data for different purposes. We mainly use your data for communication during activities.
As soon as this policy and the supported documents are ready, we will inform you by e-mail of this new policy.
If you already want to indicate that you do not want us to use your personal information for our communication purposes, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then remove you from our membership records. You will no longer receive communications from us. Of course it is possible to view your data at any time through our secretariat. Note that certain data are required to remain a member of WIA-Europe. If you want us to delete this data, this means that you can no longer be a member of WIA-Europe.
What kind of communication can I expect?
You will only receive an e-mail and/or a letter when we have association-related news or activities. These can be (news-)letters or invitations.
Of course we will not share your data with third parties, unless you gave permission for this. For example, for security reasons to enable a visit to a company. Your details will be shared with the local group of your choice.
If you have any questions regarding the above, please contact us via email@example.com.
With best regards,
