WIA-Europe will hold a WIA-Europe Breakfast event at the Space Innovation Congress in London on Friday, 8th April 2016, 08:00 - 09:30


Space Innovation Congress is the showcase event for space related technology taking place in London, 7th -  8th April 2016, St Paul's, 200 Aldersgate St., London EC1A, UK

Before Day 2 of Space Innovation Congress starts, Women in Aerospace Europe will host its traditional Networking Breakfast under the theme  ’Diversity in Science’ .

After a welcome message from Simonetta di Pippo, WIA-Europe President, Luisella Giulicchi, WIA-Europe Treasurer / Director of Institutional Relations and Spacecraft Engineering Manager, Copernicus Earth Observation Satellite Programme, European Space Agency (ESA) will moderate interventions by the following prominent speakers :

  • Dr. David Kendall, Chair United Nation Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UN COPUOS)
  • Magali Vaissiere, Director of Telecommunications and Integrated Applications, European Space Agency (ESA) (invited)
  • Prof Chris Welch, Professor at the International Space University, Vice-President of the International Astronautical Federation
