We promised we would organise meetings on a regular basis at aerospace-related events and are proud to announce that at ILA 2010 we organised our first panel discussion entitled “How can more women in the aerospace business get into leadership positions?”. Questions on how more women can be brought into leadership positions in the aerospace sector were answered by the guest speakers. Measures and programmes like quotas and mentorships and their effectiveness of boosting careers were discussed.
It was held on Wednesday 9 June 2010 in Berlin. Louis Gallois, CEO of EADS gave a keynote speech and answered questions from a panel.
Besides WIA Europe President Simonetta Di Pippo and Louis Gallois, EADS CEO, the panel consisted of:
