On 17 June 2017, within the framework of the OPEN CAMPUS University of Bremen, we gott a dedicate invitation for the “Women in Aerospace” group to visit the DFKI Robotics Innovation Center.

The event started at 14.30, with a guided tour in English by Dr. Sirko Straube.

We had the opportunity to visit the labs and test facilities of the institute building, for example the unique exploration hall in Europe and to experience completely different robotic systems in action – for example for the use in deep sea, space or industrial production. The DFKI scientists were available for questions and children interact with robots and experiments.

Later, we continued the tour with a visit to DLR and ZARM stands.
