Board members Claudia Kessler and Andrea Boese met with NASA Deputy Administrator and former WIA US president Lori Garver at a luncheon with NASA Administrator Charles Bolden on 9 December in Washington. In his lunch speech Charles Bolden emphasised the importance of organisations like WIA and especially the impact they make in education and outreach for space.
WIA Europe Board members also met with the WIA US Board to discuss joint activities in the years to come.
