The WIA-E UK local group was successfully launched at the Reinventing Space Confererence in London.

Over 40 aerospace professionals enjoyed croissants and coffee in the Royal Society’s Marble Hallwhilst listening to the inspiring words of guest speaker Dr. Alice Bunn, Policy Director at the UK Space Agency.
Afterwards two lucky raffle winners were presented with copies of the book How to Thrive and Survive as a Working Woman, written by Fiona Elsa Dent and Viki Holton. The breakfast, sponsored by the Satellite Applications Catapult and Airbus Defence and Space, gave participants the chance to talk with the committee and share their vision for WIA-E UK.
