On Monday, 26 June 2017 in the Cloister Room of Engineering Faculty in Rome, there has been the inauguration of the Master in “Space Mission Design and Management”.
The event has been organized by the University “La Sapienza” of Rome and opened by a welcome of Director of Department (Maria Sabrina Sarto) and Deputy Rector (Gianni Orlandi).

The goal of the Master is to provide a multidisciplinary training to develop the themes related to the methodologies and the techniques of managing the space missions which aims to cover at a high level all the technical, organizational, legal and international cooperation involved. it is foreseen a collaboration with the University of Nairobi with the support of ASI.
Several personalities has attended, including the Director of UNOOSA (Simonetta Di Pippo), the President of the Italian Space Agency (Roberto Battiston), the Chief Scientist of the newly established Kenya Space Agency (John Kimami), Japanese Space Agency (Hiroki Akagi), Professor of University of Nairobi (Mwangi Mbuthia) and the Director of Vitrociset (Riccardo Grazi).
The Director of Master (Fabio Santoni) presented the course arguments and how they will be developed.
At the end he invited, as special guest, WIA Europe to present the association (Director of Communication, Annamaria Nassisi). A lot of interest for WIA Europe has been collected during the networking.
