Ms Khan is first author of the paper “Leveraging Additive Manufacturing to Enable Deep Space Crewed Missions”. Her paper has been accepted for oral presentation at the upcoming International Astronautical Congress (IAC) Conference in Washington DC. At the same Congress, she will also present another paper that she has co-authored on “Single Bubble Sonoluminescence Microgravity Experiment Design and Preliminary Results”.

Ms Khan studied Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in Canada, and obtained a Masters of Space Studies at International Space University (ISU) in Strasbourg. The latter has exposed her to space medicine in an interdisciplinary fashion and she wishes to further follow her passion for space medicine and pursue a career in the field.
