The event consists on a presential symposium that will take place at the Manresa Technology Museum, in Catalonia, on April 30, from 11:30 to 13:30 (CET). During the symposium, 3 different workshops and a “Round Table” talk and debate will be conducted.
In the Round Table, 3 different speakers, researchers and professionals on the space sector, will talk about the present and the past of the space sector, and how it affects our daily lives. At the end of the talk, the public will be able to ask questions to the speakers.
The workshops will be also conducted by young space professionals, and will be mostly aimed at children and families. The children will learn many interesting facts and useful astronomy tips, such as how to acknowledge the current time by looking at the night sky. Through the workshops, we will try to convey to children the curiosity and desire to learn that are at the basis of science.
The event is organised in collaboration with the Institute for Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC), the KIMbcn foundation and the Manresa Technology Museum. Funding from the Government of Catalonia.
