Members of the WIA-E Cologne group were invited to visit EASA, the European Aviation Safety Agency.

After a short guided tour in the EASA building, almost 40 women gathered in the conference room at EASA overlooking Downtown Cologne.

Christane Lechtenbörger, WIA-E member, gave a short introduction about WIA, followed by Sonja Brungs (Cologne local coordinator) speaking about the local group in Cologne. Then, Julia Egerer of EASA introduced the WIA women to EASA and topics like pilot licening and accident investigations were discussed. With snacks and drinks, the women continued the discussions within smaller groups.
