On Tuesday, February 9th, the WIA-E Toulouse local group kicked off 2016 with more than 40 members and friends participating in a dynamic and interactive get together. A presentation you can find here.

Beatrice Charlas from KPMG was the guest speaker who presented their study on “Femmes Dirigeantes” in France. A copy of the document is available here.

Marion Clignet and Angela Negro also presented the “Body and Mind” weekend the Toulouse group would like to organise this Spring.

Many new faces joined the group, with lots of interesting ideas on new partnerships, participation in local events, how to improve visibility of our network and the women who make it so special.  It is now a challenge to prioritize and professionalise our group and best use the time the busy committee has to make the network grow and remain relevant.

The working groups updated everyone on their progress and a short workshop provided the opportunity to share new ideas.  A quick survey was taken to determine the type of events members and friends would be most enthusiastic about.

Toulouse has a variety of interesting events planned for this year.  Simple get-togethers over a drink, the “Apéro-réseau” will continue this year at the Pullman Hotel, allées Jean Jaures in the city centre at 7 pm

Also in the Spring, a weekend of personal development and fitness in the Pyrenees with Marion and Angela.  In June, the Toulouse Space Show will bring together key members of the space community and WIA-E Toulouse hopes to host an event at that time.
