Join WIA-E Luxembourg for the #IamRemarkable training.
#IamRemarkable strives to empower women and underrepresented groups to speak openly about their accomplishments in the workplace and beyond, thereby breaking modesty norms and glass ceilings.
This initiative started as women only, however, with time Google realized these issues are not specific to women. Other underrepresented groups find them very relatable. We offer this training to everyone to be inclusive, and to expose the many struggles that women and other underrepresented groups face in the workplace.
- Differing in any way from the majority of your peers whether by race, gender, sexual orientation, or some other characteristic can fuel the sense of being a fraud (Imposter Syndrome).
- The benefits of self-promotion — including taking control of how you’re perceived by others and making them understand the unique contribution you can make — are vast.
- We aim for all participants to leave the workshop more sensitive to the difficulties and supportive of other people’s self-promotion efforts, regardless of sex, gender, ethnicity, etc.
The training will take place on the 23rd of March from 18:00 to 19:30 CET.
