WIA-Europe is a non-for-profit association dedicated to increasing the leadership capabilities and visibility of women in the aerospace community, giving them the opportunity to gain insight, build their industry contacts, develop clear career plans and network.

Operations Documentation Update Volunteer
Term: September 2024 to June 2025
Location: Remote
As an Operations Documentation Update Volunteer, you will contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of WIA-Europe by revising and updating our operational documents. Your responsibilities will include reviewing existing documents and guidelines, and collaborating to identify areas for improvement or clarification. This project offers an opportunity to make an impact on our operations while developing your skills in document management and process improvement.

Role Requirements:
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with document management systems or willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in document management or policy development is a plus.
- You will have a weekly meeting with the executive director to discuss progress, share insights, and receive guidance.
Desirable:
- Passionate about the space and aerospace sectors
- Passionate about diversity and making the sector a better place for women to work in
- Ability to work across time zones
Financial Administration Support Volunteer
Term: September 2024 to June 2025
Location: Remote
As a Sponsorship and Fundraising Research Volunteer with WIA-Europe, you will support in identifying and cultivating potential sponsors and donors to support our mission of advancing women in aerospace. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct research and compile a comprehensive list of potential targets, including corporations, foundations, and individuals, who align with our values and objectives. This will involve gathering information on their philanthropic priorities, past donations, and contact details. Your efforts will directly contribute to securing vital financial support for our programs and initiatives.
